I have been thoroughly enjoying my time with The Last of Us, but I don’t think it would be nearly as effective without the incredible soundtrack from Gustavo Santaolalla. His acoustic finger-style guitar gives the game a feeling of isolation and desolation that I haven’t heard in a game soundtrack in years.
This is a great game, but the soundtrack makes it that much better.
