Folks! #MusicMonday returns with another fine track from Death Stranding. I am starting to fall in love with this game, in a strange, strange way. The soundtrack is so uniquely captivating with it’s haunting, ethereal tone. Ludvig is a favorite composer of mine and he has no doubt accomplished something special with this score. Towards the end of the track, the vocal chants remind me of anime’s such as Ghost In The Shell and Akira. I hope you find it to be something special.
#MusicMonday is back with a powerful punch. “Once, There Was An Explosion” is a deeply invigorating piece that starts slow and mysterious, and then overwhelms the listener with arpeggiators and massive orchestral swells. It is a truly original sound that fits right into Death Stranding’s nightmarish dream world. I hope you find some enjoyment out of this theme.
#MusicMonday returns with another fine track to start your week. This time, I’m bringing the beachy, seductive vibes of “Old Metal Gear” from the Metal Gear Solid 3 soundtrack. I recently re-exported the entire soundtrack from disc to my computer, and fell in love again with this track along with the entire score. Kick back and relax with this one after a long day at work. Maybe a Margherita would be in order, too.
#MusicMonday returns once again, with this fine installment from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty. There are some really unique tracks from this game’s soundtrack, and this one cannot be overlooked. A lot of the music from the Big Shell area is so mysterious and haunting. It encapsulates the intrigue and espionage of the mission at hand while searching for answers of the global elite. It really makes me want to revisit the entire series.
Death Stranding comes out the day this episode is released. Will is pumped. Drew is underwhelmed. The two break down the build and hype for the game as reviews hit the internet. Can Will sway Drew’s opinion?
Plus, the two dream of going to Scotland, chat about games that feel like work, The Farmer’s Almanac (?) and much more.
