Folks. It’s #MusicMonday once again, and this time, this track really hit me in the feels. I haven’t ever played Final Fantasy XII, but I discovered the soundtrack recently after seeing someone stream the game again on Twitch. This track reminds me a lot of the music for The Last Guardian. Huge sweeping orchestrations and emotionally packed textures fill your ears with joy. So much so I am contemplating buying the game and likely never playing it. So it goes. For all the fans of #MusicMonday, I truly hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.
Will and I have been all about RPGs lately, and this week’s #MusicMonday is no different. Here are some exceptional acoustic guitar renditions of the battle themes for eight of the Final Fantasy games. If you like fingerstyle guitar, this will make your day.
Folks. I have a lump in my throat after listening to this. For all the FF7 fans around the globe, we now have access to the new FF7 soundtrack, and boy oh boy is it grandiose! The soothing harp arpeggiators, the sweeping orchestral horns, everything about the new version of “Prelude” I think is exactly what we hoped for. It’s more. It’s just more, and sometimes more is a great thing. I’m not crying, you’re crying!
It’s been a couple of weeks since Will and Drew have recorded an episode together. Despite Drew’s exhaustion, the two have a ton to talk about. They discuss Drew’s recent trip to Orlando and how video games fit within the trip, plus a trip to the local game store, the Atari Hotel, the latest Final Fantasy 7 Remake Trailer and Doom Eternal gameplay vids!
